Savannah State University Tiger Invitation Pre Meet

This week has been an extremely long one for me. I've been away from the computer and haven't had the energy to type up anything on the crackberry because I've been under the weather for the entire week, but I am feeling much better at the moment. Definately preparing myself mentally and physically for the debut this weekend. As I type I am in the university training room chilling (literally) in the ice tub getting the legs all set for tomorrow.
Overall the week has been pretty extensive training wise, monday I sat out due to sickness, tuesday we had weight pulls and both wednesday and thursday we hit the hurdles hard so you can imagine how the legs are feeling right now.The bus rolls out early tomorrow morning so ill see if I have the energy to update if not consider me out! Till then keep khillin I know I will lol.

  1. Hi Rashad. I am glad that you could get a great laugh from my comments on D.O.'s Blog. I keep the EJHeat comedy time going on his blog. I thought I would send some love to your new blog as well. First, I hope you feel better. I certainly know what it is like to feel horrible from my dystonia neurological condition. I am always on a physical and emotional roller coaster ride. Ironically, this one of my best weeks so far this year. I had a good week and felt pretty well for me overall. For more info on dystonia go to www.dystonia-parkinsons.org. In one of my first comments to D. O., I told him that I had dystonia, and he actually knew what it was. That was amazing to me because so few people have heard of this condition. I knew at that moment we had a very amazing, awesome, and special connection. Many doctors do not even know about this condition. I can count on 1 hand the # of people I told about this condition that actually heard of dystonia.
You are so right, Rashad, I am a true fan to D.O. in the utmost. I would do anything for him. He has really touched my heart in so many special ways. He is my favorite pro athlete. I emphasize PRO because he conducts himself as a professional. More pro athletes should conduct themselves like David Oliver. He does everything the right way on and off the track. That means everything to me , and I am so proud of him. You have such a great role model in D.O. to follow, and he should be a big inspiration for you to be one of the best collegiate hurdlers in the USA.

It always amazes me how God brings people together. My EJHeat comedy central on D.O.'s Blog has now brought you into my life. I look forward to following your college journey and all your college meets. I will be 38 on March, 24. I see that you are 21. I am almost old enough to be your father. Sometimes I forget how much older I am than all you guys because I am so silly and joking around all the time. I always think that I am still in my 20's even though 40 is coming up on me in just 2 short years...LOL. So, can I adopt you into the EJHeat family and team? Coach E approves. I have already added you to my prayer list. God Bless You, Rashad!!!!

Now to that chilling ice tub. Wow, that looks cold. I am going to have to throw some EJHeat in that tub to warm things up. The only way I would get in that ice cold tub is with my wetsuit on to stay EJHeat warm. I like to be warm. I grew up in the cold of the Pittsburgh area. The last thing I need is cold. I delivered newspapers for many years in the cold and snow walking up and down icy, snowy, steps and hills. The last thing I need is a ice cold tub. If you read my latest comments to D.O., then you know about my funny igloo championship roll away King size bed for his cold meet in Melbourne comments. And he kept rollin with another great win despite those horrible weather conditions, and he looked like a GIANT eskimo in his big jacket. Rashad, If you go out and win your college matches, I will have to get you a collegiate championship roll away bed for you. You will have to keep half your body on the bed and half your body off the bed as you celebrate. Maybe some new dance called the D.O. shuffle. I will have the igloo area on there for you and your chillin tub. You can be my student eskimo. I think I am going to get you an EJHeat wetsuit to keep your body warm...LOL.

D.O.is my KING eskimo. I like to call D.O. my Godsend lifesaver. He inspires me and keeps me going everyday. Now, I got my college student lifesaver in you Rashad. I really do feel a special connection with you from the moment I read your comment on D.O.'s Blog. I hope we get to meet each other in person someday. If you are ever in the Lakeland,FL area visiting let me know. I hope I keep you laughing. I am going to try and think of some funny things to comment on your blog so that you can have more LMAO moments. Stay Tuned! I am sure I will come up with some interesting stuff. I hope I can help motivate and inspire you to be a great hurdler, and continue to do things the right way on and off the track. That is the bottom line because me and your blog father Coach E said so!!!!
